What type of work is Intelligence best for?
Intelligence excels at searching for potential buyers for a specific asset. For instance, it helps M&A advisors:

How does Intelligence differ from other M&A search tools?
Intelligence’s search engine provides targeted buyer research. It is not designed for general M&A research purposes.
Intelligence’s search algorithms use statistical and natural language processing (NLP) methods to find and distill key data points into financial and strategic buyer lists and scores. Inputs include asset description and financials, similar deals, buyer acquisition history, buyer financial criteria, buyer financials, and geographic fit. In addition, the algorithm for our financial buyer score draws from anonymized and aggregated activity of financial buyers like private equity on Datasite.
What data sources does Intelligence use?
Intelligence regularly adds to the data sources it uses. Current sources include Pitchbook, Coresignal, Datasite proprietary algorithms, anonymized and aggregated activity of financial buyers on Datasite, and publicly available information.
How does Intelligence protect my data?
All software hosted in Datasite’s environment adheres to the same high security and compliance standards as the rest of the Datasite platform.
